Steven White, a Bermuda commercial litigation, insolvency and trusts disputes lawyer, has joined Walkers (Bermuda) Limited as a partner in the insolvency and dispute resolution practice, to spearhead the firm’s trusts disputes team.

A former commercial, chancery and employment disputes barrister in Britain, and with nearly ten years' experience appearing in Bermuda courts, Mr White was recently appointed a Fellow of INSOL, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Bermuda), a member of the Recovery and Insolvency Specialists’ Association, and an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

He is described by peers in the Legal 500 as being "very responsive, detail-oriented and professional".

Mr White’s practice includes high-value commercial disputes in the corporate, insolvency and trusts fields. He specialises in contentious trusts matters, especially complex trust litigation and court approved restructurings.

He also regularly advises on contentious insolvency matters, including disputed petitions and cross applications, costs issues, complex multi-jurisdictional restructurings, and issues arising out of schemes of arrangement and light touch provisional liquidations accompanying US Chapter 11 proceedings.
