Nominations are open until the end of the month for five major 2022 Technology Innovation Awards categories, including the Innovative Trailblazer Award sponsored by the Bermuda Business Development Agency as part of the annual Bermuda Tech Week.

Bermuda Tech Week is a partnership between the BDA and the Economic Development Department.

It comprises two main events — the Technology Education Day on October 31 and the Bermuda Tech Summit October 26-28.

The other four Tech Award categories are: Innovation of the Year — International Market; Innovation of the Year — Local Market; Mobile Application of the Year; and Most Innovative Youth Project or Youth Programme.

Nominations may be submitted at www.techawards.bm until September 30.

Since 2007, the TechAwards have celebrated the best Bermuda-based companies, products, and individuals making their mark in the technology industry.

The Innovative Trailblazer Award recognises a Bermuda-based company that uses new technologies to conduct international business and participate in the Bermudian marketplace, and uses this jurisdiction as a testing site for further technological advancements.

All nominees will be evaluated by the TechAwards committee, comprised of leaders in the fintech and technology industries, along with the BDA.

The top contenders will be recognised during Tech Week.

You must be Registered or to post comment or to vote.
