Thanksgiving service for the Queen to be held at Cathedral

The official book of condolence for the Queen Elizabeth II will be available for the public to sign at Government House over the weekend.

Government House advised it would be open to the public for signing on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

The book will not be available for signing after 4pm on Sunday.

A spokeswoman also advised that Government House was working in tandem with the Government and the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity in Hamilton on plans for a Service of Thanksgiving to mark the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

The service is expected at the Cathedral at 11am on Saturday, September 24, with further details to be given in the days ahead.
