Erling Haaland continues to break goalscoring records, becoming the quickest striker to score three hat-tricks in the Premier League, doing so in just eight games. The Norwegian has already scored 14 goals and will score more than 50 if he holds this pace for the rest of the campaign.

Fantasy managers have even more selection challenges after the last goal-laden round of fixtures. Brighton midfielder Leandro Trossard has emerged as a strong budget option, while Bernardo Silva is a good choice for the mid-price bracket.

Saturday

Bournemouth v Leicester City (11am)

Bournemouth salvaged a goalless home draw with Brentford last weekend. Lloyd Kelly and David Brooks are out for the Cherries, while Ryan Fredericks, Ben Pearson and Joe Rothwell are doubts for the next league match.

Leicester dominated East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest 4-0 for their first victory of the season. Ryan Bertrand and Ricardo Pereira remain out for the short trip to the South Coast, while Wilfried Ndidi and Patson Daka are doubts.

This is an equal rivalry, as the teams have drawn five times in ten overall league meetings. Bournemouth edge it with three wins to the Foxes’ two.

Prediction: 1-1

Chelsea v Wolverhampton Wanderers (11am)

Conor Gallagher smashed home a late winner to edge Chelsea over Crystal Palace on their Premier League debut under new head coach Graham Potter. Edouard Mendy and N’Golo Kante are doubtful owing to lack of fitness, while new recruits Marc Cucurella and Carney Chukwuemeka are ill.

Wolves relieved manager Bruno Lage of his duties after their 2-0 away defeat to West Ham United plunged the West Midlands side into the relegation zone. Nathan Collins and Ruben Neves are suspended, the latter because of yellow card accumulation. Hwang Hee-Chan, Francisco Oliveira, Raul Jimenez and Sasa Kalajdžić are out with various injuries, while Pedro Neto is doubtful with a minor ankle injury for the visit to West London.

Chelsea have dominated this contest historically, winning nine of the 16 meetings.

Prediction: 2-0

Manchester City v Southampton (11am)

Phil Foden added to the three goals from new recruit Erling Haaland with three of his own in Manchester City’s emphatic home derby win over neighbors Manchester United. John Stones and Kalvin Phillips are out, while Kyle Walker and Rodri are doubtful for Pep Guardiola’s team this weekend.

Southampton were punished for poor set-piece defending in their home loss to Everton. Tino Livramento and Roméo Lavia remain out for Saints, their only injury concerns for the journey northeast.

City have won 20 of their 36 overall encounters, but Southampton have taken draws from their last two meetings with the defending champions.

Prediction: 3-0

Newcastle United v Brentford (11am)

Newcastle returned to winning ways with the 4-1 away victory over Fulham. Emil Krafth and Jonjo Shelvey remain out, while new recruit Alexander Isak and Allan Saint-Maximin are doubtful this weekend.

Brentford held firm defensively to preserve a 0-0 away draw with Bournemouth at the weekend. Christian Norgaard and Keane Lewis-Potter are out, while Ethan Pinnock and Pontus Jansson are doubtful for the visit to St. James’ Park.

These clubs have met twice in the top division, including the thrilling 3-3 draw in this fixture last term.

Prediction: 2-2

Brighton & Hove Albion v Tottenham Hotspur (1.30pm)

Leandro Trossard scored his first career league hat-trick, and Brighton earned an away stalemate with Liverpool on the first match in charge for Italian head coach Roberto de Zerbi. Jakub Moder remains out with a knee injury, while Enock Mwepu is ill this week.

Tottenham suffered their first league defeat of the season away to neighbours Arsenal last Saturday. Emerson Royal is suspended for three games after his challenge on Gabriel Martinelli, while Lucas Moura is out with a tendon injury, and Dejan Kulusevski is doubtful with a hamstring injury this weekend.

Spurs have won six of their previous ten meetings.

Prediction: 1-1

Sunday

Crystal Palace v Leeds United (10am)

Crystal Palace returned from the break with a disappointing home loss to Chelsea. Jack Butland, Nathan Ferguson and James McArthur are out this weekend, while Nathaniel Clyne and Joachim Andersen are doubtful.

Leeds managed a 0-0 home draw with Aston Villa last time out, despite new recruit Luis Sinisterra being sent off for a second yellow card. The Colombian is suspended, while Stuart Dallas, Adam Forshaw, and youngster Archie Gray are out.

The Yorkshire side edge this rivalry with five wins to three for the Eagles.

Prediction: 1-2

West Ham United v Fulham (10am)

West Ham United got their second win of the season at home to Wolves last weekend, with summer arrival Gianluca Scamacca scoring his first goal in English football. Fellow signing Nayef Aguerd remains out with an ankle injury, while Ben Johnson and Maxwel Cornet are doubtful this round.

Fulham could not deal with a rampant Newcastle in their 4-1 home loss, and Nathaniel Chalobah was sent off for a late challenge on Sean Longstaff. The midfielder is suspended, while Harry Wilson and Manor Solomon remain out with knee injuries. Willian, Kenny Tete, Antonee Robinson, Layvin Kurzawa and Aleksandar Mitrovic are doubtful.

The Hammers have dominated this series, winning 14 of their 24 meetings.

Prediction: 2-0

Arsenal v Liverpool (12.30pm)

Arsenal returned to domestic action with a solid home North London derby result over neighbors Tottenham. Mohamed Elneny and Emile Smith Rowe are out with hamstring and groin injuries respectively, while Cedric is doubtful for the Gunners this week.

Liverpool conceded a late goal to drop points via the 3-3 home draw with Brighton last weekend. Andy Robertson, Calvin Ramsay, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, and Curtis Jones remain out with various injuries, while Ibrahima Konate and Caoimhin Kelleher are doubtful owing to lack of fitness.

The Merseyside team have taken 25 wins to 16 for the North London side overall, including four of the last five.

Prediction: 2-2

Everton v Manchester United (3pm)

Everton came from behind to take a 2-1 away win over Southampton. Yerry Mina, Mason Holgate, Ben Godfrey, and Nathan Patterson remain out, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin is doubtful thanks to lack of fitness this weekend.

Manchester United were comprehensively beaten away from home by neighbours Manchester City. Harry Maguire is out through a hamstring injury, while Raphael Varane is doubtful with a minor injury for the visit to Goodison Park.

The Red Devils lost this fixture last season 1-0, but dominate the series historically, winning 37 of their 60 meetings.

Prediction: 1-2

Monday

Nottingham Forest v Aston Villa (4pm)

Nottingham Forest were thrashed away to Leicester 4-0 in the East Midlands derby on Monday. Omar Richards remains out with a leg injury, while Moussa Niakhaté is doubtful with a muscle injury for their next home fixture.

Aston Villa took a goalless draw from their visit to Leeds United on Sunday. Lucas Digne (heel), Diego Carlos (Achilles) and Boubacar Kamara (knee) are out, while Matt Cash, Ludwig Augustinsson and Calum Chambers are doubtful.

Villa have dominated this East vs West Midlands derby, winning five of their ten encounters, while Forest have just once in the series.
