Buses and ferries will be out of action for two hours today when a meeting is held for members of the Bermuda Industrial Union.

A government spokeswoman said public services will be interrupted from 10.30am until 12.30pm.

She added: “Specifically, there will be no bus or ferry services during this period.

“Other delayed services include trash collection, parks, postal delivery and other services.

“All disrupted services will resume following the conclusion of the BIU meeting.”

It is understood that the disruptions will extend to soon before and shortly after the meeting, to allow members time to get to it.
