Bermuda law firm Mello Jones & Martin has won an international award for the excellence of its web-site.

The firm’s site was adjudged Best Legal Interactive Application in the 2007 Internet Advertising Competition, organised by the Web Marketing Association.

Mello Jones & Martin’s redesigned web-site (www.mjm.bm ), developed by Tantramar Interactive Inc., includes graphic and usability design and a completely customised content-management system.

Built from the ground up and launched in November 2006, the project was completed on time and on budget. Copywriting was completed by the law firm staff and photography was produced by LookBermuda. R. Peter Weedon, MJM’s practice director, said, “We selected Tantramar Interactive because of their technical prowess and their design skills. We are delighted that others agree, as their work has been judged superior by the web-site industry, and we are pleased to accept this award today.”

The Internet Advertising Competition is one of the only competitions to focus solely on online categories of advertising. IAC Award entries are submitted by advertising and interactive agencies or corporate marketing departments world-wide. Entries were evaluated on creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting and use of the medium.
