People are invited to an open house at one of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital's departments.

The Department of Pathology is throwing its doors open for tours, demonstrations and a poster display tomorrow, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Dr. Kered James, chief of pathology at KEMH, said: "Our skilled, trained and qualified staff have access to the newest technology and provide physicians with essential information for the treatment of medical conditions.

"Accurate and timely test results play a crucial role in patient care, both in the diagnose and prevention of disease."
