“We prepared a project plan, selected a steering committee and move co-ordinators from each department/unit. Early in the planning process we established that we would move in two stages.
“We moved everyone from the first location in January and then three weeks later moved the rest of the team. On the move days, everyone knew their responsibilities and followed through until completion.”
“The most challenging aspect of the move was the weather. During the first move the island shut offices due to gale force winds and heavy rain. During the second move there was non-stop rain for the duration.
“Our core team was determined to complete the move regardless of the conditions, and we were supported by the rest of the Authority, to ensure the move was successful.
“The new facility has an excellent Notes and Coin Exhibit, new training facilities and allows for the growth of the Authority.”
