American Airlines flight diverted after two-year-old takes sickAt 10.30 a.m. yesterday, an American Airlines flight reported a two-year-old passenger was experiencing seizures and a doctor on board was administering medical attention.
When the flight landed 25 minutes later, awaiting EMT and ambulance personnel treated the child and transported him to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
A police spokesman said: "There was a doctor onboard the flight, but they wanted to make sure they had adequate support on the ground."
Yesterday evening the child was reported to be in stable condition and would be discharged from the hospital soon.$800 fine for .36 grams of cannabis resinA man pleaded guilty yesterday to possession of cannabis.
Mitchell Trott, 25, of Ballast Point Road, St George's, was fined $800 at Magistrates' Court.
Police arrested him in Hermitage Road, Devonshire, on November 10 after finding 0.36 grams of cannabis resin in his possession. Ellwood Mouchette, 63, of Trackside Lane, Devonshire, pleaded guilty to impaired driving yesterday at Magistrates' Court.
The court heard Mouchette was heading west in a water truck along Parsons Road, Pembroke, on February 24 when he suddenly drove into the path of a Police car, causing the vehicle to swerve.
A blood test showed he had 215 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, the legal limit being 80.
Mouchette, who claimed he was "on medication" at the time, was banned for one year and fined $1,000.Woman charged with break-inA woman has denied breaking into a house in Pembroke.

Angelo Pitcher, 26, was also banned from driving for one year at Magistrates' Court yesterday.
The court heard Pitcher, of Cut Road, St George's, was heading west on Kindley Field Road on February 1 when police officers witnessed him forcing traffic to swerve.
He overtook a line of traffic at speed and then forced oncoming vehicles to veer towards the side of the road. One car had to brake to avoid a collision after Pitcher cut in front of it.

The complainant said sometime between 1.45 p.m. and 5.15 p.m. on Friday, someone gained entry to her home while she was away and stole cash and personal items.
