BCB biggest gainer

More than $1 million worth of shares were traded on the Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange last week, with the index rising a total of 31.897 points (0.62 percent) to close at 5,163.40.

The biggest riser was Bermuda Commercial Bank which improved 90 cents (10.17 percent). Also moving up during the week were Butterfield Bank up 20 cents (0.33 percent) to $60.20, LOM Holdings up 25 cents (7.14 percent) to $3.75, Argus Group up five cents (0.33 percent) to $15.05 and Belco up 55 cents (2.37 percent) to $23.80.

Losing value were Bermuda Aviation Services stock, which finished the week five cents (0.79 percent) lower at $6.30.

The total number of shares traded was 129,611, valued at $1,051,765.
