The following are some of the key moments in the history of Henry VIII Restaurant and Pub and its parent company, Long Botham Boats:
1970: Long Botham Boats Ltd., owned by Andy Allan, buys the Windjammer Restaurant on South Shore Road in Southampton and relaunches it as Henry VIII Restaurant and Pub.
1974:>Henry’s Pantry opens.
1988$>The company acquires title to its buildings and land.
1994: LBB<\p>acquires the nearby Horseshoe Bay Beach concession1998: Mr. Allan relinquishes his shares in the company to a group of corporate shareholders and leaves the company. The shareholders are represented by lawyer Paul King, who is made chief executive officer in his place.
20 <$>LBB buys popular Hamilton pub and restaurant the Robin Hood.
2005: LBB delists from the Bermuda Stock Exchang
2005: The company buys Freddies Pub on the Square in St. George’s. It is later relaunched as the George and the Dragon.
2007: Henry VIII is hit by a kitchen fire, causing its temporary closure and renovation.
