Axis Capital is holding an investor day in New York city next month.

The company, which provides insurance and reinsurance and made a profit of $236.8m in the first quarter of the year, will present the investor day on June 7. AXIS Capital's senior management will provide an update on the company's strategic outlook, operating activities, and financial performance.

AXIS chief executive officer and president John Charman will host the event, which will include presentations by senior executives.
