Ace makes UK changes
A day after announcing it is new offices in Hungary and the Czech Republic, Ace Ltd. has revealed more changes within its European operations.
Ace UK is making changes to its UK and Ireland management team. The Ace UK property business will be streamlined under the management of Steve Walker who assumes the position of property manager for UK and Ireland.
Working with him will be Tom Wood andStephanie Cryer, who will be responsible for property in the North and South respectively. Gordon Scouller will take the position of regional manager (Scotland). In this role Mr. Scouller will assume ownership for Ace's growing business in Scotland.
John Stanway is to assume overall responsibility for casualty in the North and will work with Mr. Wood and Mr. Scouller to maximise opportunities in this region.
The UK and Ireland and the Ace Global Markets Financial Institutions teams will be formally combined under the leadership of Jane Bennett.

In addition to strengthening our proposition for brokers and clients, these new appointments, combined with developments such as Ace Online and our response to new and emerging risks such as environmental and cyber liability, will underpin Ace's future growth in the UK market."
