Cameron Pimentel finished second overall out of a field of 109 at the 2007 Laser Radial North American Championships held over the weekend at Hyannis Yacht Club, Massachsetts.

Cameron’s coach Dino Weber said this was a “very good result” for the talented youngster — particularly with it coming on the heels of his of ninth overall and second in his age group finish at the Laser Radial South American Championships

Pimentel has now set his sights on the ILCA Radial Youth Worlds in Netherlands in August. Also attending with Cameron and coach Weber was Campbell Duffy, who finished 25th in the Radial Silver Fleet.

Katrina Williams also attended the regatta, finishing 42 in the Radial Gold Fleet.
