Shares in BF&M tumbled as the Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange slipped 9.95 points (0.19 percent) to 5,138.22.

BF&M was the only mover as its shares lost 75 cents to close at $18.50 after 2,000 were traded.

Also in the insurance sector Argus Group saw the changing hands of 14,100 of its shares but without any impact to its closing price of $15.

The only other active stock was Bermuda Press Holdings with 3,000 shares exchanged without altering the closing price of $15.50.

The total volume of shares traded was 19,100, representing a value of $295,000.
