Asset management company W.P. Stewart and Co Limited confirmed eight directors at its annual meeting held in Hamilton on Tuesday.

Chairman and CEO William Stewart has also thanked retiring board members Dominik Brunner and Jeremy Sillem for their contribution to the company.

The eight directors of the board confirmed are Mr. Stewart, Henry Smith, John Russell, Angus King Jr., Alfred Mulder, Heinrich Spangler, Jan Spiering and Richard Spurling.

It was also agreed at the shareholders meeting that the directors can appoint further directors to fill vacancies up to a maximum of 12 directors.

Of the retiring directors, Mr. Stewart said: "I am grateful to Mr. Brunner and Mr. Sillem for their objective guidance and support. Their depth of experience, both with private and public companies, has been of great assistance to us and I wish them every success in the future."
