New director to lead Vision Bermuda
Vision Bermuda has appointed Erica Ingemann as its new executive director, bringing fresh leadership to the organisation as it continues its mission to support people with vision loss.
Ms Ingemann, a speech-language pathologist with more than 10 years of experience in clinical and community health, succeeds Theresa Hall, who served as executive director for the past decade.
“I am honoured to be joining Vision Bermuda as executive director,” said Ms Ingemann. “As an SLP, I’ve had the privilege of assisting individuals with communication challenges and have seen first-hand how access to care and support impacts quality of life. I look forward to bringing this perspective to my new role and working with our dedicated team to strengthen our impact and expand our reach in the community.”
Ms Ingemann’s background includes therapy and advocacy work for individuals with speech and communication needs. Vision Bermuda said her “proven leadership and dedication to inclusive service delivery” made her well-positioned to guide the charity through its next phase of growth.
The board praised Ms Hall, the outgoing director, for her “outstanding leadership and service”, saying her commitment was key to expanding the organisation’s role in the community.
