Aon plc, the global professional services firm, has appointed Amanda Lyons as chief executive of Aon Reinsurance Solutions in Bermuda, effective July 1 and subject to regulatory and immigration approvals.

Based in Bermuda, Ms Lyons will drive the growth of Aon’s reinsurance platform on the island.

Aon said she is a proven global leader with extensive market relationships and strong product expertise.

The company said she will continue to increase strength across the firm’s solutions, resources and talent after its recent Bermuda appointments. She will also remain as global product leader for reinsurance solutions.
