FoodHub launches senior hiring drive
FoodHub Bermuda, one of the island’s largest restaurant groups, has launched a major hiring campaign to fill six senior leadership roles as part of a wider restructuring effort tied to its 35th anniversary.
The company, which began with Four Star Pizza in 1990 and now employs more than 200 people across the island, is looking to hire a chief operating officer, a chief sales and marketing officer, a food and beverage manager, a senior accountant, an office manager and a corporate chef.
“This leadership reorganisation and expansion is an opportunity for us to grow and give back,” said Marico Thomas, the chief executive officer. “This change will strengthen our operations, bring in new perspectives and ideas and create space for both existing and new team members to step into more meaningful leadership roles.”
FoodHub has made a strong push in recent years to grow its offerings, including new catering, dine-in and drive-through services, and boutique dining spaces.
In 2022, the company pledged to create 175 new jobs for Bermudians under a post-pandemic Ministry of Economy and Labour initiative.
Since then, it has expanded across multiple business lines and continued to invest in local talent.
Several of the positions being advertised are opening due to upcoming retirements or expiring work permits, the company said, creating opportunities for on-island jobseekers, returning residents or existing part-time employees to step up.
FoodHub said it aims to hire leaders who are committed not just to operational excellence but also to its ongoing community partnerships in youth programming, education and charitable initiatives.
“This is a rare opportunity to lead in one of Bermuda’s most dynamic restaurant groups,” said Mr Thomas. “We’re proud of the foundation we’ve built and excited to welcome the next generation of leaders to shape what’s next.”
Applications are open now and will close on Friday, July 25. More information is available at www.FoodHub.bm/jobs.
