Paradise Mobile has welcomed four new Bermudian interns and one returning participant as part of its 2025 summer internship programme.

This year’s interns included Musa Abdul-Jabbar, from The Berkeley Institute, who explored marketing and consumer behaviour; Natalia Dill, a recent Berkeley graduate heading to Carleton University to study business administration; Dunnajai O’Mara, also from Berkeley, who focused on agile teamwork; and Najae Swan, a Nottingham Trent University student who gained hands-on experience in programming.

Nicholas Weikl, a returning intern studying computer science at Nova Southeastern University, took on senior responsibilities in store and mentored new interns, helping them apply tech skills in a collaborative environment.

The interns ran a simulation exercise using digital work management tools to replicate the full software delivery cycle. Through this experience, they learnt to apply agile project management principles and generate performance metrics, the press statement stated.

“We’re committed to helping build a tech-savvy workforce in Bermuda,” said Nico Gonzalez, chief digital officer at Paradise Mobile. “Through this programme, we want to give interns the tools and experiences that allow them to innovate, grow and envision brighter career paths. The creativity and drive they’ve shown this summer have been a real inspiration.”
