Travel magazine lists best Airbnbs in Bermuda
A holiday haven in Sandys, which offers travellers the comforts of a home away from home, has been listed among the top Airbnb’s on the island.
SeaView Luxury Vacation Rental was recommended by Condé Nast Traveler – a luxury and lifestyle travel magazine – for offering enviable ocean views from a secluded slice of sand along the coastline of the West End.
The venues were rated by the London and New York-headquartered magazine on “super host” status, amenities, location, previous guest reviews and decor.
It said visitors would be impressed by SeaView’s brightly coloured bedrooms, which featured air conditioning and plenty of windows for natural light.
The magazine listed Waterfront Cottage in Flatts as offering visitors “a cozy stay in a convenient location”.
The holiday home was highlighted for conveniently sitting between LF Wade International Airport and Hamilton.
The magazine noted that the locale offered good options for dining because Rustico and the Village Pantry restaurants were within walking distance.
Sea Glass Cottage in Warwick was recommended by the magazine for the amenities it offers.
However, the magazine also praised its prime location, only minutes away from Elbow and Horseshoe Bay beaches.
Watermark, a space in Sandys which caters for a group of up to seven, was mentioned for its peace and quiet as well as its views of the Great Sound.
The magazine said there were plenty of holiday rentals around Bermuda that capitalised on the island's beauty, plentiful activities and upbeat spirit.
It said many featured the “hallmarks of Bermudian architecture”, including limestone roofs, interiors of blue and pale pink, large windows to maximise natural light and spacious verandas.
