Board directors sought for non-profits across Bermuda
The Non-profit Alliance of Bermuda has launched a recruitment drive to find board directors for third-sector organisations across the island.
Its effort was designed to connect skilled individuals with meaningful opportunities.
Charities play an important role in Bermuda, the alliance said, addressing social and economic challenges, strengthening community wellbeing and ensuring critical services are delivered to those who need them.
Nicola Paugh, the executive director of the alliance, said: “Non-profit boards are the backbone of strong organisations.
“They shape strategy and direction, ensure accountability and safeguard sustainability.
“Through this initiative, we are inviting Bermuda’s professionals and community members to lend their skills, experience and leadership to causes that matter.”
The alliance is a registered charity committed to “strengthening, unifying and championing Bermuda’s non-profit sector”.
