Youth conquered experience as juniors Lewis MacFarlane and Darina Betschart came from two shots back to win the Bermuda Mixed Foursome Championship at Turtle Hill Golf Club.

The pair carded an impressive 3-under 51 in the final round, played under the modified Pinehurst (alternate shot) format, to finish four shots clear of runners-up and overnight leaders Jarryd Dillas and Linda Down.

Cynthia Semos and Mikus Ming rounded out the top three after pipping Ann Symonds and Walter Jackson on retrogression.

Dillas and Down held a one-shot advantage over the rest of the field heading into the final round after carding even par in the opening round, played under the two-ball best-ball format, with Semos and Ming and Symonds and Jackson breathing down their neck at one over.
