Warwick collision leaves two men injured

A collision between a motorcycle and a pedestrian tonight has resulted in two men suffering suspected head injuries.

A police spokesman said that at about 8.30pm, police and first responders received reports of a serious collision at the junction of South Road and Rocklands Road in Warwick.

The spokesman said: “Details surrounding the circumstances of the collision remain unclear at this time.

“Both the male pedestrian and the male motorcycle rider sustained suspected head injuries and have been transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.”

Police were diverting traffic away from the area, directing motorists along Warwick Lane and Dunscombe Road.

Anyone with information about the collision is urged to call police on 211.
