Rider hit with two-year road ban
A man who rode a motorcycle on Front Street while disqualified has been banned from driving all vehicles for two years.
Jahleel Crockwell, 36, admitted the offence when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The court heard that Crockwell, from Pembroke, was already under an 18-month disqualification from driving since October 1 when police stopped him on Thursday.
Magistrate Maria Sofianos fined Crockwell $800, extended his disqualification by six months and warned that he could face jail time if he is seen driving any vehicle during that time.
