Trichologist Jennifer Doe, founder of Root Solutions Bermuda, has expanded her services to include advanced hair loss diagnostics.

Ms Doe has completed certification in polarised light microscopy at the Bauman Medical Group in Florida, under the Italian Academy of Hair Microscopy.

This non-invasive technique allows for detailed analysis of hair shaft disorders and scalp conditions. By examining hair under polarised light, she can identify the precise cause of hair loss, breakage or thinning, allowing her to develop personalised treatment plans for her clients.

“This brings advanced diagnostic technology to Bermuda for the first time,” she said.

She is now actively seeking partnerships with dermatologists, physicians and salons to serve as allies and trusted resources for clients facing hair loss.

“Many people struggle with hair loss without understanding the underlying cause,” Ms Doe said. “Polarised light microscopy allows us to see the structure of the hair in incredible detail, helping us pinpoint what’s happening and why, so we can create targeted solutions.”

Ms Doe said her training at Bauman Medical ensures that clients in Bermuda have access to cutting-edge hair loss analysis without having to travel overseas.

“Root Solutions Bermuda offers a holistic, science-based approach to hair and scalp wellness, supporting clients dealing with conditions such as alopecia, thinning hair and breakage due to stress, hormonal changes, or underlying health issues,” she said.
