Dangerous driving case sent to Supreme Court
A woman has been accused of injuring another motorist in Pembroke last year.
Appearing yesterday in Magistrates’ Court, Rosetta Somersall, 60, was charged with causing Clyde Lee grievous bodily harm by driving a car without care and attention.
The alleged incident occurred along Pitts Bay Road on July 21, 2024.
Ms Somersall, from Hamilton Parish, was not required to plea, as the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.
Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case to the January arraignments and released Ms Somersall on $5,000 bail with a surety, ordering her not to contact Mr Lee or any prosecution witnesses.
