Woman denies stealing more than $21,000 across ten months

A woman yesterday denied the theft of more than $21,000 from another woman.
Derrika Johnson, 37, pleaded not guilty in Magistrates’ Court to stealing $21,275.56 from Alika Scott.
The incident was alleged to have happened between an unknown date in December 2021 and October 3, 2022.
Magistrate Auralee Cassidy adjourned the case until December 17 and released Ms Johnson, from Sandys, on $3,000 bail.
She ordered the defendant to have no contact with the alleged victim.
