More than 600 people took part in this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Week organised by the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation.

That was about 100 more than last year, according to Jamillah Lodge, BEDC director of communication and development.

“GEW takes place throughout November and includes BEDC hosted and partner events,” Ms Lodge said. “Each year we strive to create better opportunities for our entrepreneurs to engage and learn.”

This year’s agenda featured a variety of activities and conferences such as Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, a golf clinic for women and a fireside chat with actor and entrepreneur Tristan “Mack” Wilds.

The BEDC also held their first full-day conference with breakout sessions catering to all entrepreneurs.

She called this year’s GEW a huge success from the diversity of local and international guest speakers to the variety of events that were held.

Executive director Erica Smith said: “GEW is the BEDC’s chance to highlight the strength and creativity of Bermuda’s entrepreneurs.”

She thanked partners, sponsors, speakers and attendees who helped make GEW 2025 a success.
