Teekay Tankers donates $20,000 to four local charities

Bermuda-based Teekay Tankers has donated $20,000 to Bermuda charities as part of the company’s annual corporate social responsibility programme 2025.

Angelique Burgess, senior manager corporate affairs, said Teekay is committed to supporting charitable organisations that align with the company’s values.

The firm donated funds to the Endeavour Maritime Career Springboard programme for maritime career training.

Vision Bermuda, formerly the Bermuda Society for the Blind, also received funds from Teekay for the third year.

The Bermuda Sailors’ Home received a donation that will assist with the Home’s equipment upgrades, while Teekay helped Westmeath Residential & Nursing Care Home purchase a wheelchair weigh scale.
