Man admits drug-related charges on day of trial
A man admitted four drug-related charges on the day he was set to stand trial.
Clinton Outerbridge, 49, pleaded guilty in the Supreme Court yesterday to handling a controlled drug with intent to supply, possession of drug equipment and two counts of possession of a controlled drug.
The drugs — cannabis and Delta-9 THC — and paraphernalia were found on May 20, 2019.
Outerbridge, from Smith’s, initially denied the charges after his indictment, but switched his plea yesterday when his trial was set to begin.
Puisne Judge Juan Wolffe adjourned the case until February 6 for sentencing and ordered him to undergo a social inquiry report.
He extended Outerbridge’s bail until then.
