Motorcyclist seriously injured in Paget crash

South Road, Paget was shut down for a few hours yesterday after a motorcyclist was involved in a collision with a taxi.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said officers were called to South Road in Paget near the entrance to Bermuda College at about 2.35pm.
The male rider was initially unresponsive, but regained consciousness at the scene and was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The taxi driver was not reported to have been hurt. The roadway was closed to traffic while the scene was processed.
