Woman suffers medical episode before two-car collision
A woman was taken to hospital after she suffered a health-related episode just before a two-vehicle collision.
The incident involved two cars on Middle Road near its junction with Church Road in Southampton on January 15, a spokesman for the Bermuda Police Service said.
He said that the vehicles were driving in the road’s eastbound lane when the car in front slowed down to make a right turn and was struck from behind by the other.
The drivers, a 39-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman, were uninjured from the crash.
However, the woman was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for a medical assessment after she suffered a health-related episode prior to the collision.
Both cars were damaged and traffic was delayed for about 20 minutes.
Any witnesses were urged to call 211.
