Bank finishes higher

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed 0.24 per cent lower as two stocks traded during the week
The RG/BSX Index fell 7.74 points (0.24 per cent) to 3,273.77 for the day and for the week as 680 shares ($31,525.75) traded today on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Leading the decline was Allshores, which closed at $21.01, down 79 cents or 3.6 per cent for both the day and the week after trading of 100 shares for the day and 1,266 for the week.
The only other issue trading was Butterfield Bank, on a volume of 580 for the day and 10,080 for the week, closing unchanged at $51.
In New York, Butterfield Bank was trading on the New York Stock Exchange near its 52 week high ($53.85 on Tuesday), closing up 22 cents (0.42 per cent) at $53.08 as it prepares for its earnings report on Monday.
