Senior officers from local and international organisations completed a strategic management course last week.

A spokesman said officers from the Bermuda Police Service, the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force, the Bermuda Fire And Rescue Service, the Royal Montserrat Police Service, the Royal Bermuda Regiment and the Department of Corrections completed the programme on Friday.

The spokesman said: “Organised by the BPS and delivered by the Southern Police Institute at University of Louisville, the course supports our commitment to becoming a centre of excellence in policing, focused on strengthening strategic leadership, decision-making and preparedness for modern leadership challenges.

“Congratulations to all participants on this achievement.”
