A man has been arrested in connection with stabbings in Southampton last night.

A police spokesman said the suspect remained in custody while officers continued to investigate the incident, which happened near Southampton Rangers Sports Club shortly before midnight.

Three people were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with stab wounds, one had sustained serious injuries.
