Rider injured in Devonshire crash

A male rider was believed to have sustained a head injury following a single-vehicle crash on North Shore Road in Devonshire this morning, police said.
A Bermuda Police Service spokeswoman said officers and first responders were at the scene of the incident near the Tynes Bay waste facility at about 11.30am.
Traffic diversions were in effect at the junction of North Shore Road and Barker’s Hill, as well as at the junction of North Shore Road and Dock Hill.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area, expect delays and use alternative routes where possible.
