A motorcycle rider was not as badly injured in a Friday crash as originally feared, police said today.
A spokesman for the Bermuda Police Service said that the man was thought to have sustained a head injury after hitting a kerb along Cedar Avenue, near Angle Street in Pembroke, at about 10.15pm.
The 59-year-old was taken by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after the incident, but his injuries were later deemed less serious.
There were traffic disruptions in the area while the scene was processed and inquiries took place.
The BPS spokesman added: “The Bermuda Police Service thanks the member of our community who reported this collision, as well as the witness who came forward.”
