Social activists encouraged the public to become involved with their communities during the official start of spring yesterday.
Change-makers, led by Glenn Fubler of Imagine Bermuda, called on others to “share our inner light” and give back in any way they could.
Mr Fubler said the theme of renewal that came with spring was timely and important and pointed towards the murder of 26-year-old Kawaje Raynor on Sunday and “incidents of cruel brutality” around the world as reflective of the need for change.
He suggested planting a seedling, assisting those nearby, volunteering for a non-profit organisation or visiting a nature reserve.
