Residents and businesses in the City of Hamilton have been warned that there will be no trash collection on Good Friday or Easter Sunday.

A spokeswoman said that waste will be picked up on Saturday for commercial properties, bars and restaurants only, with regular collection resuming on Monday.

She added: “The city reminds businesses and residents to store their wheelie bins in a secure location to avoid theft and any damage that may be caused during inclement or windy conditions.”
