Applications open for BEDC incubator
The Bermuda Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) is now accepting applications for the eighth cohort of its Enterprise Bermuda Incubator programme.
Designed to support local entrepreneurs and small business owners in the early stages of their journey, this year's programme will run from July 2, 2026, through March 25, 2027.
The Enterprise Bermuda Incubator offers a structured development process that guides participants beyond the idea stage towards launching and growing their businesses. Up to ten successful applicants will receive hands-on support, practical resources, and access to a network of advisers committed to helping them build sustainable businesses.
Participants accepted into the programme will receive complimentary access to BEDC’s educational courses and programmes, free office space with 24-hour access for up to one year, use of meeting and training facilities, and an international training and learning experience.
Access to mentors, monthly check-ins with BEDC advisers, and pro-bono or subsidised professional services in areas such as marketing, accounting, legal support, and web development are also included.
“The Enterprise Bermuda Incubator has a way of meeting entrepreneurs exactly where they are and helping them see what is possible,” said Kelsea Williams, communication and development officer at BEDC.
“We are so excited to welcome a new group of passionate, driven individuals into this community. If you have an idea or an early-stage business and you are ready to invest in yourself, we would love to see your application.”
Vurnell Ball, owner of Bermuda Sensory Company, said of her experience as a programme participant: “This experience helped me believe in my vision for Bermuda Sensory Company. It pushed me to grow, step out of my comfort zone, and start building something meaningful for my community.”
The programme is open to entrepreneurs and small business owners who have been operating for two years or less. The application deadline is midnight on Monday, June 1, 2026. The programme concludes with a graduation ceremony, dinner, and reception on March 25, 2027.
