Police appealed for information after gunshots were heard in Pembroke this evening.

A spokeswoman said shortly after 10pm, officers were dispatched to Berkeley Road following reports of suspected gunshots.

The officers found evidence that a firearm had been discharged at the scene.

No injuries were reported and a section of Berkeley Road was closed while officers conducted forensic processing.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police on 211 as soon as possible.
