Man charged with threatening to kill
A 44-year-old Warwick man has been charged with threatening to kill an individual.
Tahir Bascome was not required to enter a plea as the offence is indictable.
The court heard that on May 18, Mr Bascome caused an individual to receive a message in writing containing a threat to kill another person, contrary to Section 290 of the Criminal Code Act 1907.
Mr Bascome was released on bail to the amount of $5,000 and ordered not to contact the complainant.
He is due to return to court for the July 6 arraignment session.
