A revamp of Mount Saint Agnes Academy’s auditorium is underway.

School principal Anna Faria-Machado, Christopher Tannock, assistant principal for facilities and Sean Kelly, chairman of the Board of Governors, launched the $1.5 million renovation project last week by removing vents, which allowed for a modern air conditioning system, and breaking in the parquet flooring at the space.

A statement said: “The upgraded facility will support performing arts, assemblies and community events in a refreshed, state-of-the-art environment.”

Mr Kelly said: “This project represents a meaningful investment in the future of Mount Saint Agnes.

“The new auditorium will serve as a dynamic space where students can learn, perform and grow while continuing to bring our community together.”
