Butterfield shares slip 0.9% in New York

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged for the week
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged yesterday on 3,540.87 in the absence of trading activity on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The index was unchanged for the week too, with Allshores the only stock to trade, remaining on $24 as 13,174 of the insurer’s shares changed hands. Turnover for the trading week totalled $314,556.
The US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank fell 50 cents, or 0.88 per cent, to close on $56.46 on the New York Stock Exchange on above-average volume of 271,681 shares.
