Second teenager arrested for Rangers gun incident
A 16-year-old male was arrested yesterday in connection with shots fired at the Southampton Rangers Sports Club on the evening of May 24, a police spokesman said.
It followed the arrest of a 17-year-old male last week in connection with the incident, in which “multiple gunshots” were reported at about 10.15pm during an event at the club. There were no injuries reported.
The second suspect was detained after police executed a search warrant at a Warwick residence.
The spokesman added: “The investigation into this matter continues and we are grateful for the assistance provided by the public thus far.
“However, we are appealing for anyone who may have information that could progress the investigation but has not yet reached out to us, to please contact acting Detective Inspector, Anneka Donawa, on 717-2250 or via e-mail at adonawa@bps.bm.”
