A local charity is offering two Bermudian students $5,000 each to support their educational journeys.

The offer reflects Bermuda Is Love’s belief that higher education is a human right and aims to support students who are committed to making positive change in their communities.

It is open to Bermudians of all ages who have been accepted to, or are enrolled in, an associate undergraduate, postgraduate or technical programme.

The scholarship has no grade or financial eligibility requirements but applicants will be assessed based on their commitment to community engagement, and how they reflect the values of Bermuda Is Love.

“Bermuda’s future depends on empowered young people who are committed to uplifting their communities,” said Aaron Crichlow, a cofounder of Bermuda Is Love.

“This scholarship is an investment in students who are ready to lead with compassion, action and purpose.”

The Bermuda Is Love Scholarship Programme was created to support Bermudians in achieving their educational goals, reduce financial barriers to higher education and encourage leadership, community involvement and social impact.

It also aims to build a stronger network of change-makers across Bermuda.
