Butterfield shares jump on BSX and NYSE

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index climbed 57.57 points
Shares of Butterfield Bank gained 1.8 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today. The bank climbed $1 to close on $56 on the trading of 5,756 shares.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index climbed 57.57 points, or 1.63 per cent, to close on 3,598.44. Turnover totalled $322,336.
Butterfield’s US-listed shares climbed $1.71, or 3.05 per cent, to close at $57.82 on the New York Stock Exchange on above-average volume of 388,615 shares.
