Man denied money-laundering and drug offences

A man denied money laundering along with a string of drug offences during an appearance in the Supreme Court.

Stefan Brown-Darrell, 30, pleaded not guilty to concealing and transferring criminal property, specifically cash, between January 1, 2020, and June 30, 2023.

Mr Brown-Darrell also denied possessing cannabis, cannabis resin, Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol and MDMA with intent to supply on August 4, 2022.

The offences allegedly took place in an increased penalty zone within 300m of John Smith’s Bay Park.

He further denied possessing drug equipment, specifically four grinders and four digital scales, on the same date.

Puisne Judge Alan Richards adjourned the matter until August 7, when the case is scheduled to be mentioned in the court.
