CPA Bermuda is to host its first Accounting Career Fair to offer insights to young people considering a career in the profession.

The event will be held on July 1 on the upper level of Pier 6 from 4.30pm to 7.30pm and will also inform attendees on the pathway to becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant, or CPA.

The career fair will feature a diverse panel offering insights into the accounting profession from various perspectives, including a recently designated accountant, an experienced accounting professional, a parent of an accountant, and a representative supporting scholarship opportunities.

In addition, several organisations will be in attendance to provide information on student programmes, including scholarships, internships, placements, and full-time employment opportunities.

CPA Bermuda is the leading professional accounting body in Bermuda, dedicated to supporting and advancing the accounting profession through education, advocacy, and professional development.

The event is ideal for students pursuing business-related studies or those considering a career change and are interested in accounting, CPA Bermuda said in a statement. It offers a practical, well-rounded view of the profession and direct access to industry professionals.
